Ghost - Self Portrait

This is a photograph of myself. It is actually two different negatives which I sandwiched together in the enlarger head. I took this photograph using a 4x5 field cam which I set up in my bathroom (the only room in my house with out windows) and shot this as a timed exposure using only a flourescent blacklight bulb to light it. The first shot (bottom neg) is of me standing with a white sheet completely covering my body, the second shot is of me with the sheet completely covering all of my except for the left side of my face. I used a cable release to set off the camera, and had one of my roomates standing in the tub holding up the black light for me. I am quite pleased with this photo. It is really spooky looking. The texture at the top of my head is actually part of the pattern of one of the sheets I used. The 4x5 film combined with the black light was strong enough to pick up that texture.
